Alaska White Colour Notes:
Alaska White wallpaper brings grey green mottling together with fine turquoise pearlescent framing. Blocks with variable markings and tone sit together to build the large scale pattern of this design.
The design module is eight square motifs that build to make the extra long repeat of this wallpaper. The scale of the Alaska White design works well in double height volumes where the motifs can really stretch their legs. Equally, the design scale creates drama in smaller areas. The stylised stone markings are unique to each motif, holding their own combinations of colour. Close up these markings seem to be similar to a camouflage pattern. When viewed from a distance the markings blend into the marble compositions where they originated from. Each 52 cm square segment fits together at any 52 cm match, enabling a varied mix of pattern with no discernible repeat. Because the non woven wallpaper has a smooth finish Geo Geo Alaska White can also create more variance by reverse hanging. The super smooth mica paper under this design gives a soft and luxurious metallic sheen when the light catches across it. For another design in this series with more green tones see Verde Onice.
