Linear

Linear takes one of decoration’s most familiar elements and lets it wander. The line has appeared everywhere, from woven borders and classical ornament to modern graphics. Here, it loses some of its usual discipline and becomes more playful.

Gold seems particularly comfortable in this territory. Fine metallic lines have long appeared in gilding, inlay, embroidery and decorative detailing. Set against stone, they feel familiar without belonging to any particular period.

In Linear, gold behaves almost like a drawn mark. Lines travel, meet, turn and separate, creating a loose network across the stone. The natural shifts within the marble stop the geometry from becoming too exact.

Linear keeps things deliberately simple. A line is allowed to wander, gold gives it emphasis, and the pattern grows from there.
